Public Service Committee: Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7:00 pm at Curtis Hall, 20 South Street.

Zoning Committee:  Wednesday, Oct. 2 – CANCELLED

Education Committee: (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN TIME) Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Curtis Hall, 20 South Street. The agenda will be: TBA

Housing & Development Committee: (PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME AND LOCATION) Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 pm at Community Room at the Brookside Community Health Center, 3297 Washington Street.  The agenda will include:  1). A discussion on affordable housing, specifically JPNC Policy and Citywide IDP Campaign; 2). Sustainable housing – proposal for subcommittee.

Zoning Committee:  Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7:00 pm at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street.  The agenda will include: 1).  32 Jamaica Street (rebuild enclosed porch in location and within existing footprint of existing porch); 2). 26 Jamaica Street (confirm occupancy as a single-family residence and add bump-out additions on front and side, expand second floor above bump-outs, in connection with interior renovation and adding bathroom.); 3). 9-11 and 13-15 Catherine Street (construct two two-unit townhomes, each with a shared wall (four units in total).  Each townhome to consist of three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, first-floor garage parking sufficient for two cars, and a roof deck). 

Parks + Committee: (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN TIME AND LOCATION) Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 pm at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street.  On the agenda will be JoAnn Robinson, a landscape historian, who will be speaking on the history of Franklin Park as well as ways to ideally integrate supportive housing with the park.

Executive Committee:  Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7:00 pm at JP Licks.

Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council:  Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7:00 pm, at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street.  On the agenda will be: 1).  Second Announcement of At-Large Vacancy; 2). A presentation on “From Energy Security to Energy Shift,” a response to the Merrimack Valley natural gas disaster; 3). An update from Tomas Gonzalez of Core Empowerment; 4). Updates and recommendations of committees.
