5.Committee reports/recommendations:

5.1.Public Service Committee: a). VOTE to support the petition of 100 Percent Delicias Express Corp, doing business as “100 Percent Delicias Express,” at 660A Centre Street in Jamaica Plain for a seven-day common victualler license, with the hours of 9:00am to 11:00pm, with one (1) TV only, with Lewis Crespo as manager; b). VOTE to support the petition of GJS – 660 Realty Trust at 656-660 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain to change the legal occupancy to include restaurant with #36A take-out use at this address, with the proviso that the take-out use will stay with the current business tenant at 660A Centre Street, 100 Percent Delicias Express Corp, doing business as “100 Percent Delicias Express”; c). VOTE to accept Samantha Montano as the vice-chair of the Public Service Committee.

5.2.Zoning Committee: Report and recommendations that Council members:  a). VOTE to approve the change in occupancy from jewelry boutique to take-out restaurant at 368 Centre Street, with provisos current business and current owner only; b). VOTE to approve the construction of a three-story residential building with three units and two off-street parking spaces at 3247-3249 Washington Street subject to applicant holding a follow-up meeting with ESNA on issues regarding City Realty properties; c). VOTE to approve the construction of exterior freezer and storage improvement at 659 Centre Street, with provisos: (1) agreement with 9 Park Place neighbor on treatment of facing wall; (2) installation of sound dampening enclosure around rooftop condensers; (3) replacing older rooftop condensers as planned; and (4) follow-up meeting with abutters; d). VOTE to approve the change in occupancy from two family to three-family dwelling; construct new rear addition, rear deck, side dormer, and exterior stairs and landing at 71 Mozart Street; e). VOTE to demolish existing building and construct new three-story building with two commercial units (office and retail) on the first floor and eight (8) two bedroom residential units at 628-630A Centre Street.

5.3.Housing & Development Committee: NO AUGUST MEETING.

5.4.Environment, Parks & Energy Committee: NO AUGUST MEETING.
