5.  Committee Reports and Recommendations:

5.1 Public Service Committee report, including recommendation that the Council VOTE: to support the petition of Bar Orange Corp., doing business as “Bar Orange,” at 3698 Washington Street, for a seven-day common victualler all alcohol beverage license, with a 1:00 am closing, and an Entertainment License for 5 TVs only, with Bob D. O’Guin, Jr. as manager.

Environment, Parks & Energy Committee report, including recommendation that the Council VOTE: to support the Digital Right to Repair Act H.143/S.96 and to send a letter to the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure to move the bill out of Committee with a favorable recommendation.

 5.3 Housing & Development Committee report, including recommendation that the Council VOTE: to approve (1) Revised Good Jobs Standards; (2) Letter to MassDOT seeking funding for the Arborway Yard; and, (3) Comment letter to JPNDC regarding its proposed project at 71-85 Call St (former MassDOT parcels) (4 homes, each with a rental unit, 8 units in all, all affordable).

5.4 Zoning Committee report, including recommendation that the Council VOTE: To approve/deny variance(s)/change(s) of use for properties at: (1) 18 Marbury Street; (2) 287 Chestnut Avenue; (3) 137 Amory Street; and, (4) 34 Roseway Street  To review the specifics of the zoning relief requested for these properties and the respective recommendations of the Zoning Committee, click Feb 27 2018 Zoning Report.  To review materials submitted to the committee for these projects, click here.
